Studying this form is linked
with understanding fa jing (fa jing) concept – explosive force or discharge
force. Pao Chui sequence is generally performed very swiftly, in “exploding
manner”. The whole form from the beginning to the end takes no more than
four minutes.
Due to many energy movements such as jumps, hits, “sealing” and avoiding,
Pao Chui is considered to be one of the most important methods of preparing
and training for a real sparring.
Pao Chui sequence of Chen style Taiji-quan consists of 43 movements.
