"Eight Method Style"
in Mandarin.Founded in Northern China by Li Be Mao in 1906 who was a
practitioner of Chang Quan,Fan Zi,Xing Yi Pigua,Tan Tui and Tong Bei.The
system was simplified as a hand-to-hand combat training.Many of the
techniques were designed for use on either foot or horseback using a spear,
saber or sword.
The eight methods
are: outer trap, inner trap and stab, flick, support, shake, chop and
reel.It is used in Shanxi Province (China) in the city of Datong and Inner
Mongolia. |
