Damashii" Inoue (Japanese: エンセン井上, born April 15, 1967) is an American mixed
martial arts fighter. He has a professional MMA record of 11-8-0 as of April
16, 2004.
He is the brother of Egan Inoue. Though relatively unknown among
today's MMA fanbase, Inoue holds a submission win (armbar) over former UFC
Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture as featured in the documentary film Rites

He has a notable win over
Randy Couture and giving Frank Shamrock one of his toughest matches. Enson
had an exhibition match in Mudo Spirit on September 16, 2007.He trains
people in Hawaii.
Enson and his brother was awarded a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu by
John Lewis. He is also a former Shooto Heavyweight Champion.
Enson, a Japanese American, is divorced and has a stepson (Erson). On the
18th of October 2008, Enson was charged with the possession of up to 16.9
grams of marijuana. |
