Nippon Kempo means 'Law of the
Fist'.It was founded in 1932 by Muneumui Sawayama.
This competitive sport utilizes
samurai-based armour for full-contact sparring. It employs a wide range of
strikes, immobilization techniques, take downs, diverting, blocking, locking
and grappling.The main influences on the art are Karate, Judo, Jujutsu and
Aikido along with a number of wrestling techniques. Many of the police
forces in Japan use nippon kempo training both to develop martial art skills
